Andre Ayew News: The Ghanaian star, Andre Ayew has been named the best African player in France Ligue 1 by the weekly magazine France Football.

On Tuesday, the list of some top footballers from Africa playing in French Ligue 1 has been released and the 25 year old Black Stars player is on top of the list with his wonderful performance in the recent times, both for the team and his club.

He beat some of the best names in Africa include the Africa Cup of Nations winner, Ivorian Max Alain Gradel of Saint Etienne, Wahbi Khazrib of Tunisia and Thomas Nkoulou of Cameroon among others.

The magazine reports, “In the game, his influence is undeniable: Andre Ayew is the one who directs the operation, impulse, command, voice and gesture.”

Also, his brother Jordan Ayew is on ranked number 4 while the Senegalese star Lamine Sane of Bordeaux emerged 5th.

Andre Ayew has appeared 21 times for his club Marseille this season and has seven goals under his name so far in the season.
