Sudanese Super Model: "Dear White Make-Up Artists... Have Your Sh*t Together!"

South Sudanese model Nykhor Paul has taken to her social media in efforts to rant about the unprepared makeup artists at top fashion shows, who always seem to fail when it comes to accommodating the needs of darker skin tones.

In an enraged post via Instagram, the 25-year-old activist blasted the fashion industry for considering the needs of 'white girls' but constantly ignoring others, which forces her to have to carry around her own products.

It is not the first time that the African beauty has spoken on the inequality that she faces in the fashion world. She has previously said that we "need more models of color in the fashion world."

Nykhor has modeled for the likes of Vivien Westwood, Rick Owens and Louis Vuitton, and has recently addressed the inequality in her open letter, "Dear white people in the fashion world!"

She posted it alongside a black and white photo of herself.

She then went in on the lazy beauty artists, telling them to "get your sh*t right" when it comes to non-Caucasian complexions.

In the powerful message, which has attracted up to 3,300 likes, Nykhor goes on to list a number of brands which cater to chocolate women, she includes MAC, Bobbi Brown and Lancôme.

The New York-based model is clearly angry, and has every right to be as she goes on to say that "good makeup artists would come" prepared and do all their "research" before working at any show.

Check out her post:

She said that this problem is one that occurs more often than not at each of the world's major fashion weeks, naming off locations like New York, London, Milan, Paris and even Cape Town.

Clearly irritated with the treatment that she has faced, Nykhor added that she's tired of having to complain and even more tired of apologizing for her blackness.

She finished her statements by saying, "fashion is art, art is never racist" and then poses the question, "Why can't we be part of fashion fully and equally?"

So what do you think about her statements? Do you think that there is some inequality in the fashion world? There has been recent controversy surrounding Teen Vogue Magazine and their African hairstyles edition. Click here to catch up on that story.
