AZUBUIKE ERINUGHA

Azubuike Erinugha studied English Language and Literary Studies at the Abia State University, Nigeria. He later trained as a transmission manager at Harris Communication Centre, Montreal Canada.

While in Montreal, he also studied project and marketing management at Concordia University Montreal Canada.

He has served in various telecommunication projects and in transmission programmes in Nigeria and Germany.

As a filmmaker, Erinugha has produced The Plumber (2004), The Asylum (2008) and The Champion Sportsman (2010).

His published works include “The Wisdom of our Madness” (2004) and “oQija Verses” (2011). Erinugha has also trained business professionals in Cultural Diversity and Business English. Azubuike Erinugha is the convener and project coordinator of Nollywood Europe.

Brothers is his latest fiction that have been screened for the first time last week in Brussels.

Producteur, réalisateur et comédien. Il est l'initiateur du projet Nollywood Europe.

Ayant plusieurs fictions a son actif, Brothers est son dernier long métrage.

Arubuike viendra nous parler de Nollywood et nous dresser un état des lieux ainsi qu'un historique de cette industrie cinématographie "made in Africa by africans".

Il nous parlera également du projet Nollywood Europe.

DADA STELLA KITOGA
Actrice d'origine congolaise vivant en Belgique depuis une dizaine d'années. Connue pour ses nombreuses interprétations théâtrales, Dada Stella dénonce systématiquement les violences faites aux femmes en période de conflits.

Elle est également connue pour ses nombreuses prestations en tant que comédienne dans de nombreuses fictions. Dada est également metteur en scène.

Elle viendra nous partager son expérience de metteur en scène et soulèvera la nécessité de professionnaliser ce domaine du cinéma.

Dada Stella Kitoga is a well known actress from DRC. She lives in Belgium since years and work as actress in cinema and theater. Dada Stella have performed many plays about women issues in DRC but she is also an actress in cinema. Dada Stella is also a "metteur en scène". She'll come and share with us the particularity and the need of a "metteur en scène" in cinema.

MONIQUE MBEKA PHOBA
Belge d’origine congolaise et s’est consacrée pendant 20 ans à la réalisation de documentaires et la tenue d'un festival de films à Cotonou, la capitale du Bénin, où elle a résidé 13 ans.

Après avoir achevé en 2010 un master en écriture de scénario à l’Institut des Arts de Diffusion (IAD) de Louvain-La-Neuve, elle s’est lancée dans l’écriture de fictions.

Soeur Oyo est sa première réalisation de fiction.

Monique Mbeka Phoba is a well known director and producer. During twenty years old she have been working on documentaries and she as also initiated a film festival in Benin where she leaved for 13 years. After a degree in screenplay in IAD-Louvain-La-Neuve she started writing screeplay. Soeur Oyo is her first short fiction. Monique will share with us her experience as producer and director.

NGANJI LAEH
Nganji Laeh is a photographer / filmmaker / actor born in Congo and currently living in Belgium. He is also the editor of the poetry website L'Art d'Etre Humain (LAEH), the initiator of the project "Un Autre Visage" about Belgian-African diversity, and the co-founder of the collective "L'Animalerie" with Watna Horemans and Gregory Laurent. As a director with recent selections at the Luxor African Film Festival, the Festival International du Cinéma de Kinshasa and the Film Festival System_D of Brussels where he won the "Prix Coup De Coeur" of the jury; Nganji is now working on his next directorial effort : a film inspired by love racial challenges.

THIERRY LUSE

Né en République démocratique du Congo, Thierry Luse est le créateur de la maison de production TH7Films.

Artiste éclectique, Luse  est réalisateur, monteur, cameraman, étalonneur (digital), auteur-compositeur (musique). L'artiste est également stratège business pour la production cinéma à petit budget.

C'est dans ce contexte qu'il a mis sur pied depuis quelques années maintenant, le projet Afrikan Diaspora Cinéma (ADC).

Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Thierry Luse is the creator of the production company TH7Films. Eclectic artist Thierry is director, editor, cameraman, timer (digital), songwriter (music). The artist is also a strategist for the cinema business budget production. It is in this context that has developed for some years now, the project Afrikan Diaspora Cinema (ADC).
